Meet Nikki White | Owner, Bodybar Pilates – Keller & Southlake

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nikki White and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nikki, how does your business help the community?
BODYBAR Pilates Keller & Southlake are in the Health & Wellness space so we get to see a huge impact on the way we help people. We offer fitness classes for all levels of fitness and have members of all ages & sizes. It is amazing to hear the stories of members with goals & then be able to watch them on the journey accomplish them. We’ve see countless physical transformations and celebrate all of them. We also help people on their journey to a specific goal- “I want to tone up before my wedding day”, or “I want to take low impact classes during my pregnancy to stay strong before the baby” – getting to help people during an important part of their life is really special. We also love to partner with other businesses in the community, help support local schools, donate to raffles and participate in community festivals.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are boutique reformer Pilates studios. I think the unique programming of our workout is what sets us apart from other studios. We also offer 7 different class formats and have low-high intensity. We are able to guide a new client into the right class format at the time and then always have something to help them progress & grow stronger. The welcoming community and instructors make people feel comfortable in class.
I am most proud of soon celebrating the 5 year anniversary at the Keller location (Feb 2026). We opened in that location during covid and then a massive ice storm. We’ve really grown into the business in all the ways.
Also I am so proud that we opened the 2nd location in Southlake this year (Feb 2025)! It was so different opening this one than the 1st. We were able to get out in the community and engage with people – and we did every week prior to opening with pop up classes & events. Seeing both the studios pull together and help cheer on the new location was amazing!
Lesson learned is that things are always going to change – some seasons will be better than others, there’s going to be new competition that comes and goes, and so much more. Just be prepared to be able to shift into new strategies and have a team that will help support you when you need the help.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I own the studios alongside my husband Cory White. He still has another full time career but is always around to help as needed and offers support to me and the team. At the studios the Management Team, Sales Team and Instructors all work together to help create a supportive and welcoming environment at both studios. We are a very close knit team that feels like a “family” and would be willing to help each other in any way we can. A special shoutout to the Managers and fitness managers at both Southlake & Keller: Shannon Abbott, Rani Hippensteel, Jess Byers & Heather Leslie. These ladies help me in all the day to day operations of running both studios.
