We had the good fortune of connecting with Bronwyn Linder and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bronwyn, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
People think this industry is just about selling insurance or investments, but what most don’t see is that it’s really about hope. I am sitting at kitchen tables helping people who are stressed about money, who have no clue how to retire, who are scared they’ll leave their families with nothing and we get to give them a plan and a sense of security they didn’t have before.

It’s not just paperwork and policies, it’s changing generations. It’s showing people that they can break cycles, protect their families, and build real wealth even if no one before them ever has. Most outsiders have no clue how personal and purpose-driven this work actually is.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We run a financial brokerage, and what sets us apart is that we do it our way. We’re not your stiff, traditional, suit-and-tie office. We’re a brokerage built on faith, family, and fun while helping people get real about their money and their future. We help families protect themselves, build wealth, and create a plan so they can stop living paycheck to paycheck and actually build a legacy even if they’ve never believed it was possible for them.

I’m most proud of the culture we’ve created. We run our business like family, and we’ve built a community that laughs together, prays together, and pushes each other to grow. We also give people a place to come learn the industry and build a business of their own, especially women who never thought they could do something like this. Seeing them step into leadership and financial independence fires me up.

How did we get here? It wasn’t easy. At all. We’ve faced everything from losing income overnight, restarting in a new state, raising kids while building the business, and people doubting us every step of the way. But we kept going, stayed true to who we are, and didn’t let fear call the shots.

The biggest lessons? Keep your faith strong, your circle tight, and your vision clear. Don’t lose yourself trying to be what others expect, do it your way. And never underestimate the power of consistency. A lot of people give up too soon, not realizing that consistency beats talent every single time.

What do I want the world to know? That we’re here to make money make sense for everyday families, and to show people you can build wealth while living a life you love. And for anyone watching our journey, I want them to know you don’t have to come from money, have the perfect background, or play small to build something incredible. You just have to start, keep going, and refuse to quit.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh, when my besties visit, you know I’m giving them the full Texas experience. And I just made sure we did exactly all of this when my sisters came to visit from South Africa!

First stop: brunch at Jam & Toast in McKinney, those pancakes and mimosas are elite. Then we wandered Downtown McKinney, iced lattes from Filter(ed) Coffee, popping into Fair & Square Imports for fair-trade finds and all the small-town Texas feels.

We did a Spa Castle day to soak, steam, and catch up on life while pretending we were on a girls’ trip without leaving town.

One night, we grabbed brisket and jalapeño sausage at Hutchins BBQ (because it’s a non-negotiable) before singing our hearts out at Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar, still recovering from the laughing fits.

We spent a day at The Star in Frisco, lunch at Heirloom Haul inside Flea Style, and made custom hats there, branding them and adding feathers for the perfect sister memory.

We hit Legacy Hall in Plano for live music and drinks, and we went full Texas with a Rangers baseball game, enjoyed stadium snacks.

And you know we did a Fort Worth Stockyards day, rodeo, margaritas at Atico, a boot stop at M.L. Leddy’s, and even got them branded.

We wrapped it up with a feast at Fogo de Chão in Legacy West, and of course, there were coffee mornings on my patio, us planning dreams and catching up on years we’ve missed.

Texas is warm, vibrant, and full of life and getting to share these local gems and moments with my sisters made it even more special. These are the days and memories we’ll talk about forever, and I’m so grateful I got to give them a taste of this big, beautiful Texas life we’ve built.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Oh, 1000% yes. I wouldn’t be where I am without my husband, Bryan. He’s been my biggest supporter, challenger, and the calm in the chaos when I’m ready to burn it all down at 2 a.m.

And my kids, my why and my drive. They’re the reason I push to build something different, to show them you can dream big, work hard, and still show up fully as a mom. I want them to see firsthand what it looks like to create a life you love, to take risks, and to help others while you’re at it.

I also have to shout out the women in my life, my sisters, my mom, and a solid core handful of my female friends, and a massive shout out to my team who have truly held me up in the hard seasons, cheered me on in the wins, and kept me grounded and real through it all. Having the right people in your corner who get it is a gift I don’t take for granted.

And of course, the mentors who came before me in this industry, who showed me that you can build massive success and still keep your faith, family, and values intact. They taught me you don’t have to fit a corporate mold to make it, you can do it with pink hair, big goals, and a bigger heart.

It truly takes a village, and I’m thankful for every single person who’s believed in me when I didn’t even believe in myself yet.
