Meet Tom Rosenthal | Public Adjuster/Insurance consultant

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tom Rosenthal and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tom, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I have been an entrepreneur all my life, I am a terrible employee. The drive to create, improve and build is deeply rooted in my personality.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Public adjusters are relatively unknown and under utilized. This is the vocation that all of my life experiences have trained me for. We represent the policyholder in the insurance claims process. It requires focus, excellent customer service, the ability to think on your feet and most importantly the ability to recognize that each circumstance is different and may require flexibility in the strategy. I have learned that persistence overcomes negative response, we are all in sales and most of life is more about psychology than education, skill or training.
Insurance has become too complex and there are a lot of bad actors, you don’t have to be represented to file an insurance claim but your at a clear disadvantage if your not.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The greatest thing about the DFW metroplex is that, while me are a major metropolitan area we are surrounded by the wide open rural spaces. The best of both worlds. If your a history buff we have the 6th floor museum and Perot, if your a sports fan we have the Maverick, The Cowboys, Stars and the Rangers, all respected teams. We have night life, but you are only minutes from some really great lakes; fishing, skiing or just enjoy a lazy day.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Always my partner and wife of 40 years, Esther Rosenthal
