We had the good fortune of connecting with Shekinah Young and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shekinah, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Reform Executive Transportation was launched with a clear vision in mind. I wanted to establish a family-owned enterprise that not only creates stable job opportunities for my family but also insulates them from the uncertainties of economic downturns and budget cuts. This initiative is rooted in a desire to provide a secure professional environment where family members can thrive without the constant worry of layoffs. This business is more than just a company; it’s a family fortress against the unpredictable waves of the economy.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Reform Executive Transportation is not just a business; it’s a vision brought to life by the commitment and foresight of myself with the support of my husband. What sets us apart is our foundation in family values and our dedication to providing secure, reliable, and luxurious transportation solutions. Our focus on creating a family-owned operation means that every client receives personalized, attentive service that larger corporations often overlook.

The journey to where we are today wasn’t easy. Building a business from the ground up is filled with challenges from navigating the complexities of the market to ensuring we consistently meet our high standards of service. One of the biggest hurdles was establishing a strong foothold in a competitive industry. We overcame these challenges through resilience, continuous learning, and adapting to the needs of our clientele. Thaddeus’s invaluable advice on investment and business strategies also played a crucial role in navigating these obstacles.

Throughout this journey, the lessons have been plentiful. Perhaps the most significant is that perseverance and passion are irreplaceable components of success. Each setback was an opportunity to learn and refine our approach, ensuring that our commitment to excellence never wavered.

What I want the world to know about Reform Executive Transportation is that we are more than just a service; we are a family endeavor that prioritizes the security and comfort of our clients above all. We offer a sanctuary on wheels, where clients can relax, knowing they are in safe hands, all while enjoying the luxury and comfort along with free wifi, cable, and refreshments that our fleet provides. Our brand story is one of love, resilience, and unyielding dedication to excellence. A narrative we are eager to share and continue building upon.
