We had the good fortune of connecting with DJ Boosie F Baby and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DJ Boosie F, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
Being in the music industry is a very risky place. While it fun And can be very rewarding if you do not do the business half correctly it could come back and haunt you and change your view on the thing that you love.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve always loved making music, listening to music, and being around musicians. I never really understood growing up That me making CDs, loading MP3 players, and creating playlist for parties with over to me becoming a DJ.

As far as becoming a producer, I have always had a little songs in my head that I hum, which now I can translate and create a computer system for people to enjoy. I am most proud about the fact that, I have only been doing this for three years now and I’m way further than I would’ve ever expected. I’m able to enter rooms as a woman in music and stand my ground..

This entire process has not been easy at all. I have spent a lot of money. I’ve lost a lot of sleep. I’ve lost friends, but the new group of people I’ve been meeting has been all worth it.

A few lessons I’ve learned along the way are stay consistent, Believe in yourself because no one else will. And give it your all if it’s really what you want.

I want the world to know that I’m working hard behind the scenes in order to make more advancements for women In music, And to fix the multiple issues that occur in the music industry.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some of my favorite spots throughout Dallas would be the AT&T discovery Center, Six Flags and hurricane Harbor. It’s hard to choose just one or two things I could take people to because Dallas is such a tourist city is so much to do. As far as food, honestly, you could go to Deep Elum and eat any variety You would be looking for.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate My article to my daughters Nala & London. I would like to shout out Media Tech the school that taught me what I know. Anyone who helps me.
