We had the good fortune of connecting with Cristina Hernandez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cristina, how do you think about risk?
I think about it as if you’re not willing to take a risk you won’t get very far or if you’re too scared to try something or learn sometime new you’ll never know if you’re good at it. You have to be willing to take risks in life in order to succeed.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I take pride into my work and treat every set differently. everyone has different eye shapes & facial features. I like to study my clients eye and give them my best opinion on what compliments they’re eye shapes. I’ve spent hours day and night perfecting my craft and i still do till this day. practice makes perfect! along the growing and learning process i’ve realized that you won’t have time to hang out with friends or go out or you’ll be too tired but that it’ll all be worth it in the end because you’ve put in the work.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my bestfriend to a spot at grapevine lake where you can see the sunset and listen to nothing but the waves in the water. it is very peaceful. i would take her to downtown for a full day of adventures. we would go to the aquarium , then to klyde warren park and to eat lunch somewhere downtown. you know the vibes ! we could also go to the mall and shop for things we don’t need .. lol !

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a huge thanks to these 3!! Without them i wouldn’t be the last artist i am today. I touched lashes for the very first time with @lashedbynati and she has became my life long mentor! She introduced me to @klabeauty__ where i went and got my license in lashing! i then found myself working for @dallaslashgod as one of her brand ambassadors. she has allowed me to make content using her products and has given me a code for my followers to use when shopping!
