We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicholas Moreno and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicholas, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
To stand behind a company that I started with passion, love, and care. My business represents who I am and the community around me

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a up and coming fashion designer here in Dallas texas. What sets my designs apart from others is I’m combining art with fashion and collaborating with local fabric artists here in Dallas. We use original creative designs that are authentic and one of a kind. What I’m most excited for is the growth of collaboration with other artists worldwide to ensure maximum quality designs never before seen! How I got to wear I am today was by taking that giant step and involving myself in fashion week with no experience whatsoever. It was not easy. I was inexperienced and nervous to surround myself with the most talented designers and others in the industry. I over came the challenges by participating in all 3 days of fashion week and learning from the other designers more experienced. I involved myself in helping set up and staying late to close up. I learned that showing up early and leaving late endures the experience you need to evolve. I want the world to know that, Nick Moreno as the designer for only Dallas is for the people, and promises never before seen authentic quality fabrics at an affordable cost. I want to be in the list of fashion designers when the topic is brought up and it’s only the beginning being that it’s been less than a year. I will keep making designs and collaborating with the best artists to keep the brand Only Dallas popular and creative

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in downtown, so I’d have them park in my garage for free and we’d walk the city. The first place I’d take them would be the ATT discovery district. Plenty of food options and feels like a mini Times Square. Very touristy and they always have events. We’ would eat at Neiman Marcus which is the first ever built. We would drink at the canvas rooftop which has a beautiful view of the city. The exciting people we’d meet along the way are the locals in my community and my friends at art events and fashion events around the city!
