We had the good fortune of connecting with Ron/ebby Reed and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ron/ebby, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
I think it’s changed as I got older. Before it was 1000% all work and no time for anything. Now it’s how can and when can I make more time with my kids.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve always been an artist of some sorts. Indy wrestling to storyteller. But what really got me was the NFT space and AI art. Taking a story you have in your head and getting it down digitally. And they recreating and mixing and editing in photoshop to make that story come to life. It’s thrilling and rewarding. It’s never been easy because of the ups and downs of the NFT space. I’ve made some money and made alot of friends. I’m learning the technology behind the AI as well. The biggest lesson for me is that don’t overthink things. Before my art my mind would create all the worse case scenes and yet with my artwork it’s calmed my mind down and I can relax. It’s really therapeutic actually.

I’ve had work displayed in New York and in Lisbon, Portugal. Ebysslabs is a brand I’ve been building and teaching my kids that their are ways to earn a living doing what you like to do. They see me working and improving and things are starting to move for us, doors opening that wasn’t there before. If they learn about the tech now as we grow, who knows what they can create in the future.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Wow, thats hard. Mainly I would take them to Carrollton and Dallas. Eating Asian food lol. Everything art related and Witch shops related. Seriously besides going to the Art pop ups and Hmart areas I wouldn’t know what to do. I’m not into sports and I don’t drink so idk. Just explore and stay at haunted hotels. Luckily I’ve never been put in that position before. Lol

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My kids, even at a young age they realize I’m always working for them to have a good life. And Peps Cafe, a twitter group of artists and have helped me grow over the last 2 years.
