We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina D’Angelo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christina, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I was raised in Red Oak, TX. My dad was a truck driver and my mom stayed home until my brother and I were older. I remember my parents always making a way and I pride myself in being able to do the same. I lost my dad at a young age, but no before picking up on his work ethic.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My personal connection that is built with my clients sets me apart.
I am most excited about bringing on additional services/products in the fall.
Building a business is not easy, there are constantly ups and downs. The biggest lesson for me is to put yourself out there and let go of the fears of the unknowns
My brand is just as it says – at Innerglow I want my clients to leave relaxed and content, with that revived glow.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My business being local to Waxahachie, we would tour the town.
Breakfast and an ‘’Iced Polar Bear” from Three Rivers Coffee, or and ‘Iced Rose’ from Vita Coffee house.
Dinner and Margaritas at El Mexicano Grill aka The Cantina.
Break a good sweat at Hotworx or hit the trails around Getzendaner.
Relax at Railport Brewing for some live music and a ‘Ghost’
Tour the Historic courthouse.
And my favorite – shop a the Oily Bar Soapery! The BEST sugar scrubs and lotions.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband Leland. I would never have had the courage or capability of opening Innerglow without him!
