We had the good fortune of connecting with Pac Manson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pac, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
As an Independent artist and label owner I feel not only belief, but willingness to Invest in Myself and my Brand. As the old saying goes “it takes money, to make money” Talent can only get you so far and handling the Business side of The Business properly will ensure you’re taken Serious.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My name is Pac Manson and Im the head of GuttaMouth Records and 1/4 of the Original founding 4 of Live From The Block Battle Rap League. I’ve recently finished up my album with Legendary producer Mike Will Made It “Why So Serious?”which is chock full of Big Name Features like Scarface, Cam’ron, Gucci Mane etc and just completed the First leg of our West Coast tour in support of the album. I also recently stepped back into the battle ring to remind ppl of my Bars and Wit. I’ve had Alot of success but also fails as well tho I continue to persevere in constant pursuit of success and I am finding it as I go. Self Confidence Talent and Hard Work Ethic got me here and I’ll keep going as long as I can…

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well true to form I am a Texan so I’d say Tim Loves The Love Shack would definitely be on the list of places to eat for Great Burgers, then a quick drive over to inspiration alley off 7th St to get inspiration of course. Then for a Weekend vibe catch a show at the legendary Haltom Theater where Chaz Buchanan and family are always Happy To Serve good times for all ages.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost my Brother and Label Mate Emcee Da Crooked aka Chris Moody. He’s been here since the beginning and always pushed me to succeed. Also my brothers in Lyrical Arms Big Cliff Watkins and his awesome band Remember The Name and Mallie G for getting me into and helping me develop as a battle rapper, and lastly my Lovely Lady Summer B Manson who pushes me not only artistically but creatively as well to help me succeed not only musically but in life.
