We had the good fortune of connecting with Jarah Murraine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jarah, how do you think about risk?
The career as an entrepreneur is all about taking risk. If I didn’t take risk, I wouldn’t be where I am today. It’s about taking a risk on a vision no one else can see and doing it anyway

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a serial entrepreneur. I recently ended a 10 year career as a salon owner and cosmetologist, all though I am still licensed, I now operate my other businesses.

I own a travel agency where I assist travelers with their travel needs and specialize in group trips and solo traveling. I gained an interest in solo, traveling from being a solo traveler, myself, and traveling various countries alone. I also am a travel business mentor and I assist others with starting their own travel agencies as well.

In addition, I am also a Holistic Nutritionist and I am the owner of Eat Heal Live, LLC is a holistic health & wellness business. The mission of Eat Heal Live is to promote consciousness and holistic healing through spirituality, alkaline herbs, and foods. I offer a number of services from herbs, sea moss, vegan lifestyle coaching to consulting and cooking classes.

HBJ Glam Hair Care Products, is my plant based hair care line. All of our products are made with the highest quality of organic ingredients and designed to strengthen and grow all hair types which also includes a plant based men’s care line, Made for A King. I was inspired to start this business during my career as a Cosmetologist.   After years of trying to find products for my clients, I began doing research on ingredients and formulating product recipes based on the capabilities that were missing in the products that I was using on my clients and myself. I teamed up with a chemist and the rest is history

I also have an online boutique, HBJGlamStudio.com where I offer ladies apparel, accessories, and hair extensions.

I made my authorial debut last year and have released over 10 books, list and guides combined.

I got to where I am by remaining consistent, manifesting and being dedicated. I am big on committing to my goals. Once I make my mind up to complete something I don’t stop until it’s done.

What sets me apart from the rest is probably the fact that I am very passionate about what I do. In each of my businesses I’m helping people. Rather I’m helping them heal from illness or helping them start their own travel business. My mission is to help people be better.

Lessons learned are to take your time, remain patient, & stay consistent.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in the Atlanta, GA area. When my friend arrives in town we can start off with brunch at Life Bistro- one of my favorite vegan restaurants. After brunch we can drive through the Krog Street Tunnel to view art and stop by the Krog Street Market to shop with the amazing vendors. We would enjoy a drive thru movie at Star Light Drive-in Theater. On Thursday we have to go to Feels to catch the weekly tribute concert. I would schedule a guided bike tour of the Atlanta belt line and while there we can check out luminarum, a cinematic sensory experience. We will share some laughs at the Comedy at Uptown Comedy Club. To end the trip with some relaxation, I planned for us go hiking at Vickery Creek Trail at Roswell Mill and view the beautiful spillway waterfall in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God, my parents, and my children.

God for blessing me with the gift and the calling to be an entrepreneur.

My parents, for believing in me and supporting all of my endeavors. No matter what they have always been in my corner.

My children, for encouraging me, motivating me to keep going when I wanted to give up. They unknowingly inspire me to be a better version of myself in soo many ways.
