We had the good fortune of connecting with Jamie Easton O’Neal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jamie Easton, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
As a new mom, coming home from the hospital, I felt so alone and a little crazy. I was dying for my husband to relate to me, but it was clear that he will never understand what it’s like to be a mother. Why, because he’s a father and I’ll never understand him in that way. so instead of not doing anything about my sorrow, I decided to be the solution. With my background in social media, i created a TikTok inviting any local moms to grab a coffee and go for a walk. Little to my surprise, I had 2 strangers arrive and we had the most wonderful time. we chatted about not sleeping, the crazy feeling we think when we leave our baby to just take a shower, but most of all felt support by another woman in the same season of life. IT CHANGED MY LIFE! I didn’t feel alone. With that one conversation changing my life, I knew it could change others, I continued to post about my walks and each time the group grew. Now I have helped over 100 women across the US, Canada and Australia start walks in their area. We are creating the village one mom at a time!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Mom Walk Collective is an organization focused on cultivating in person and online social gatherings for mothers to find their village and raise the next generation. This company was birthed out of a desperate need of needing community in the midst of a postpartum, I realized after hosting my first walk that I was not alone in the journey of motherhood. There are so many of women in the same season that want to do life together and hold each other up! The movement grew overnight due to the power of social media. After a few TikTok videos going viral and moms desiring to start a walk in their city, we are now in over 100 cities across the United States, Canada, and Australia. The Mom Walk Collective desires to be the finest resource center for moms to come to whether it’s for community, motherhood resources or products.
