Hi Upskalez, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We wanted to inspire women of all sizes and shapes to look the way they feel, without breaking the bank. If you look good, you feel good! It is important to us to provide a quality product that is affordable to the working class.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
With one sister’s love for cosmetology and fashion, we decided to combine with the other sister’s exceptional entrepreneurial experience and leadership. It has not been easy at all! We have had to constantly challenge ourselves and form new habits to take what we already knew about being in business and adapt it to a completely new industry. We are going to inspire others to express themselves in fashion through abundance in choice at an affordable price point.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We are all over the DFW metro. Some of our places to go include The Oak Cliff Bishop arts district, Plano Shops at Legacy, 7th street in Ft. Worth, Texas Live in Arlington, as well the Dallas Cowboys stadium, of course! ‘Cause we bleed the blue.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would like to thank our family, friends and our community for supporting us. Above all, our grandmothers for the wonderful ideas, motivational conversations, and the passion for fashion they instilled in us.
