Meet Marcus( Wicked-T) and Eddie(Sin-X) Tamez | Ceo/Rapper/Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Marcus( Wicked-T) and Eddie(Sin-X) Tamez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marcus( Wicked-T) and Eddie(Sin-X), what is the most important factor behind your success?
Our most important factor behind our success I believe are our fans, of course the music that we create is a big factor as well, we also work very hard on our craft to get our brand out. Me and my brother put in the extra work to perfect our craft and also go the extra mile to market our brand, not only are we musicians but we are promoters, marketers, graphic designers and business owners, We started Rabble Rouza Records in 2015 but have been doing music together since we were kids, our group Heretic Klick has a strong following on Spotify and also have a great presence on social media. Me and my brother both built what we have together and I think that another key component to our success is that we are brothers and our ability to work as a team just comes natural. Our record label actually has a course that help new artist understand the new digital Era of music, how to distribute, how to gig, promote and even how to market the music. Also we are Artist/musicians ourselves and produce, record and distribute all our own music. We can be found anywhere digital music is distributed just search Heretic Klick
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We are Heretic Klick a rap duo from Arlington Texas, Eddie Sin-X Tamez and Marcus Wicked-T Tamez, we started back in 2000, when rap was in its most fertile time, we noticed most rap acts just went on stage and rapped and nothing much more so we decided we were gonna stand out with our performance it constist of a choreographed and theatrical elements to along with our very distinctive music. We are most proud of meeting and collaborating with major artist such as Jarren Benton, The Geto Boys, TechN9ne, and Esham and were excited about our future in this business and how our streams on digital platforms have surged over 90 million. We got to where we are today thru hard work dedication and persistence we work hard at creating relationships with promoters venue owners and other artist, it’s not easy but we never give up and let setbacks get us down. Also our success is a testament on both of our efforts. We overcome challenges together and always help each other figure out what we need to do, the lessons we’ve learned along the way? We have learned how marketing and promoting our brand and music is vital to our success also to be leary of promoters that only have money on there mind there are many snakes in this business and who you choose to work with is a big thing . We just want the world to know who Heretic Klick is and how our Record label Rabble Rouza Records have help many local musicians get started in the music industry.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We love all of dfw but if we had Friends visit we would take them to 7th street in fort worth for some good music drinks and dancing we also would hit up six flags and the Arlington entrainment district Texas Live in Dallas we like the rooftop scenery, waterproof and the canvas hotel rooftop are dope. And for food fir breakfast Pioneer Restaurant is always a go to in Arlington Texas and for lunch guapo tacos 🌮 in ft worth or Beks Nizza Pizza in Arlington Texas and for cool.snack wow wow lemonade stand in Dallas in the bishop arts district for dinner we’d definitely hit up Te deseo tex mex restaurant in Dallas tx or the vidorra on dallas
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We’d like to shoutout Mother Christina Tamez who always supported us every step of the way, even til this day she still supporting all our efforts, when we decided to take our musuc seriously and open up the record label she was 100 percent there and always encouraged us, when we told her we was gonna rap she was supportive listening to our music even though rap wasn’t her kind of music at the time and also give a shoutout to all our Dfw fans without them we wouldn’t be where we are today much love and mad respect to all who support Heretic Klick and Rabble Rouza Records
