Meet Quaron Gooch | Social Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Quaron Gooch and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Quaron, what’s your definition for success?
For me success is not defined by how much money I have or how much business I get. Success for me is being able to wake up everyday trying to impact lives and help as many people as I can all while getting to do something I love. Telling that story, capturing that moment, being able to create genuine relationships and see others happy.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is a reflection of the journey I am on but the experiences and emotions of others. My art is meant to be interacted with, talked about, ect…
What sets me apart from others is my willingness to learn new things and help others. I feel this journey I’m on is bigger than me so I don’t believe in being selfish with information or knowledge that I have.
The thing I’m most excited about is progress… I’m not new to entrepreneurship, but the level I’m doing it on how is new. I’ve come a long way already but I’m very excited to see what this can really turn into. Who I can connect with, who I can help.
This has been far from easy, I went without money, being unemployed for months and months, being depressed, worried about how this will happen, how that will happen. I can’t say I’ve overcome those challenges but my faith in God has definitely made it easier and gave me peace.
The lessons I have learned so far is give my mind and body time to rest, continue to trust what’s been placed inside of me and never doubt myself. I’ve also learned you have to put yourself out there, have to be vulnerable.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I really can’t answer this because I’m new to the city, I’m not originally from here (Texas) but I’m also a home body. If I’m not somewhere filming, I’m in the house 90% of the time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God literally gets all the credit, he has allowed me to be in this position and do what I’m able to do.
I wouldn’t have made it this this far though without my mother Racqueal & better half Malaya. They supported and held me up more than anybody in this world on this journey. I really couldn’t thank them enough.
