Parenting is an incredibly important responsibility and so we wanted to get a conversation going with input from parents in the community. We asked them: what is the most important thing you’ve done as a parent? We’ve highlighted some of the responses below.

I’ve had to work hard to parent in a healthy and emotionally responsible way, while also recognizing the unique individuality of each of my children. There is no one-size-fits-all approach that works, because they each have distinct personalities, thoughts, experiences and feelings. It allows them to see perspectives that they might not have ever known and hear stories they might have never heard.
