As an artist it is easy to rely on inspiration but as an artprenuer I know that 99 percent of the success comes from ‘perspiration’ – consistency is the key. To make sure I am consistent in my work habits I follow these guidelines that was learnt from my mentors, role models and teachers First, I work prolifically and that means getting up and going to the studio at specific hours every working day. If I am not inspired to paint, I will sketch, do research, look at art videos or even set up a new easel and start a new composition. Not being inspired is not an excuse for me.
