My inspiration comes from the stories of strong women who lead by example and let their stories serve as an example for the next generation. My mother was and still is one of my biggest inspirations. She was a single mother with 3 girls but she didn’t let her circumstances define who she was. She showed us what a leader looks like. I take inspiration from the things I grew up eating and from my Southern roots. From holiday meals, summer barbeques, to just a good old-fashioned family dinner, many of my family traditions are tied to food. Growing up in a large boisterous and very Southern family we took pride in passing on techniques and recipes from one generation to another.
