Reflecting on the things that made a difference

We asked some of the city’s rising stars to reflect on what made a difference in their journey. We asked them to tell us about what they think the most important factor has been behind their success.

The most important factor behind my success and the success of my brand is my tenacity and willingness to figure things out, even when I don’t have all the answers. When I started my business I did not have a blueprint, so I made mistakes. From those mistakes I made it a point to learn from every single one. Those bumps became opportunities to improve my systems and refine the experience I provided my clients. Read More>>

My thought process behind starting a business was to provide top notch service, rooted in Christian based principals. To create a culture and platform to make a positive difference in our communities, to provide our employees the opportunity to work hard and earn great pay, and to provide a culture with the flexibility that allows our employees to be present in their homes and families. Together, those elements have been the foundation of our growth and success. Read More>>

The most important factor behind my success — and the success of my brand — is authenticity and genuine care. My business has never been a “money grab” for me; it’s always been about serving my clients in a way that’s honest, compassionate, and human. I truly care about their travel experiences, from the moment we start planning until they return home. Read More>>

The most important driving factor behind success is two-fold: it’s consistency and confidence. If you show up daily working on something and carry yourself in life and in business with confidence, the chances are more likely that eventually you will end up finding success in whatever you have put this effort and focus into. I grew up in the same small town up until college, and didn’t have any connections in the entertainment industry whatsoever. I realized that nobody was going to save me or discover me, and that I would have to put the work in myself and believe in myself like no other. Read More>>
