We had the good fortune of connecting with Vd. Meenakshi Gupta and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Vd. Meenakshi, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting AyurRoots Ayurveda Wellness was a journey deeply rooted in my passion for holistic healing and the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. My vision was to create a space where people could experience authentic Ayurvedic practices tailored to their individual needs. Inspired by the growing demand for natural and sustainable wellness solutions, I wanted to bridge the gap between traditional Ayurvedic knowledge and modern lifestyle challenges. AyurRoots is more than just a business; it reflects my commitment to promoting well-being, balance, and health in a way that honors both the body and mind.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets AyurRoots® Ayurveda Wellness apart is our deep commitment to authentic Ayurvedic practices, personalized care, and a holistic approach to wellness. Unlike many in the wellness industry, we stay true to the roots of Ayurveda, blending traditional knowledge with modern needs. This dedication to authenticity and personalization is what I am most proud of and excited about—seeing how our tailored treatments truly transform lives.
Getting to where I am today in my practice was far from easy. The journey was filled with challenges, from balancing the business’s demands to staying true to Ayurvedic principles in a fast-paced world. One of the most significant challenges was educating people about the benefits of Ayurveda and why it’s a long-term approach to health rather than a quick fix. To overcome these challenges, I focused on continuous learning, staying adaptable, and, most importantly, always keeping sight of the core values of AyurRoots®.
Throughout this journey, I’ve learned invaluable lessons. Persistence and passion are crucial, but so is the ability to listen—to your clients, mentors, and the ever-changing landscape of the wellness industry. Flexibility and resilience have been my guiding principles, allowing me to navigate the ups and downs gracefully.
What I want the world to know about AyurRoots® is that we are more than just a wellness brand. We are a community dedicated to holistic health and well-being, grounded in the rich traditions of Ayurveda. Our story is of passion, perseverance, and a deep belief in the power of natural healing. At AyurRoots®, we don’t just offer services; we offer a pathway to a balanced, healthy life and support every step of that journey.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My journey wouldn’t be where it is today without so many incredible individuals’ unwavering support and guidance. First and foremost, I express my deepest gratitude to my teachers, who instilled in me the knowledge and passion for Ayurveda that forms the foundation of AyurRoots. Their wisdom continues to inspire and guide me every day.
I especially thank my family, especially my parents and brother, who have always believed in my vision, even when the path was uncertain. Their love, encouragement, and sacrifices have been the pillars of my strength.
My daughters deserve a heartfelt shoutout—they are my biggest cheerleaders, constantly lifting my spirits and motivating me to keep going, no matter the challenges. Their boundless energy and belief in me push me to strive for more.
Lastly, I want to thank my clients, who have trusted me with their wellness journeys. Your faith in AyurRoots fuels my commitment to providing the best care and motivates me to continue growing and evolving. This journey is as much yours as mine, and I am grateful to all of you.
