We had the good fortune of connecting with Trinh Vo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trinh, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Hello, thank you for having me! My name is Trinh, proud owner of Tie The Leash LLC – DFW Wedding Pet Care Services. The heart of Tie The Leash’s success lies in my pure and unwavering love for animals, especially dogs. As a devoted dog mom to two wonderful pups who are my world, I truly understand the deep, unbreakable bond people share with their pets. To me, pets are so much more than companions — they are family. And just like family, they deserve to be part of life’s most beautiful and important moments, like weddings.
Weddings are a celebration of love, joy, and togetherness, and having your furry best friend by your side makes the day even more magical. I feel so honored to help couples turn that dream into reality. My mission is simple: to ensure pets are cared for with all the love and attention they deserve while creating unforgettable memories that couples will cherish forever.
What makes Tie The Leash truly special is the heartfelt dedication I bring to every aspect of my work. I’ve poured my heart into learning how to provide the best care possible, earning certifications like Pet CPR and First Aid to make sure every pet is safe, happy, and comfortable. Whether it’s navigating the hustle and bustle of a wedding day or helping a nervous pup feel at ease, I’m always thinking about what’s best for them.
I’m constantly researching, learning, and improving so I can give couples and their pets the most thoughtful and professional care possible. My goal is to provide peace of mind, allowing couples to focus on their special day while knowing their beloved pets are in good hands. For me, this isn’t just a job; it’s a labor of love and a way to celebrate the incredible joy that pets bring into our lives.
What also sets Tie The Leash apart is that I offer so much more than just wedding pet care. I’ve created what I call “Pawsome Add-Ons,” unique services that add an extra layer of fun and sentiment to the experience. From equipping pets with a GoPro to capture their point of view during the wedding, to creating a keepsake marriage certificate complete with their pawprints, these special touches make the day even more unforgettable. These add-ons aren’t just services; they’re a reflection of my commitment to making every moment with your pets as memorable and joyful as possible.
At the end of the day, what drives Tie The Leash is the belief that pets make everything better. They bring happiness, comfort, and unconditional love to everyone they meet, and they deserve to be included in life’s happiest moments. Being able to make that happen is the most rewarding part of what I do, and it’s what makes Tie The Leash so much more than just a business – it’s a heartfelt mission to celebrate the bond between people and their pets.

What should our readers know about your business?
Tie The Leash is a labor of love born from my deep passion for animals and the belief that pets are family. We specialize in wedding pet care, helping couples include their beloved pets in one of the most memorable moments of their lives. What sets Tie The Leash apart is our personal touch and unwavering dedication. I treat every pet as if they were my own, focusing on every detail to ensure weddings run smoothly and pets are happy, comfortable, and celebrated. With certifications in Pet CPR and First Aid, I’m equipped to handle any situation, giving couples peace of mind on their big day.
The inspiration for Tie The Leash came from my own wedding. I dreamed of including my cherished pets but didn’t want to burden family or friends with the responsibility. My large-breed furbabies are full of energy and love, but they can also be a handful. Not everyone feels comfortable managing pets in such a high-energy setting, and a wedding isn’t the time for trial and error. Hiring a regular dog sitter or walker wasn’t the solution, as including pets in a wedding involves much more than basic care. It’s about making sure they’re safe, comfortable, and ready to shine in their roles – whether that’s walking down the aisle or being part of cherished photos.
What if they barked during the vows? Or got overwhelmed by the excitement? These questions made me realize that couples need someone who understands how to make it all work seamlessly. That realization sparked the idea for Tie The Leash: a service founded on love, expertise, and the goal of making every wedding stress-free and pet-inclusive.
Tie The Leash is more than just a business; it’s a celebration of the joy and unconditional love pets bring into our lives. Helping couples create unforgettable memories with their furry family members is a privilege, and I’m thrilled to play a role in these beautiful moments.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Dallas is an incredible city with so much to offer, from cultural landmarks to a vibrant food scene. If my best friend were visiting, I’d want to showcase the variety and energy that make this area so special. We’d definitely visit the Perot Museum of Nature and Science for its fascinating exhibits. Fun fact: my Bachelor’s degree is in Chemistry, and my professional background is in science education and edtech, making me a huge science nerd. We would also go to Bishop Arts District, where the quaint local shops have everything from interesting finds to artistic flair. From boutiques to art galleries, it is just the place for random walks to make a great find.
Food would be a huge part of the trip because Dallas is home to some of my all-time favorite spots. We’d enjoy smoky, tender brisket at Pecan Lodge, followed by a fun, interactive dinner at Ari Korean BBQ. For Asian cuisine, places like Hai Di Lao HotPot, Loro, and Kome never disappoint. And for a more upscale experience, The French Room offers a blend of elegance and impeccable flavors.
When it comes to drinks, Kung Fu Tea and La La Land Kind Café are my go-to spots for refreshing boba or matcha. For livelier evenings, I’d take them to The Rustic or Trinity Groves for live music, great vibes, and delicious bites.
Of course, we’d spend some time outdoors. The lakes around here, like Lake Ray Hubbard and Lake Lewisville, are perfect for a mix of relaxation and fun activities. Plus, places like Klyde Warren Park and the Dallas Museum of Art add a cultural and creative touch to the trip.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my husband, Richard. From the very beginning of this business adventure, he has been my rock and my biggest supporter. Starting and running a business is not for the faint of heart – there are countless ups and downs, moments of uncertainty, and challenges that test you in ways you never expect. But through it all, Richard has been there. He’s the person who cheers me on when things are going great and the one who lifts me up when I’m feeling overwhelmed. Whether it’s helping me brainstorm new ideas, lending a hand during busy days, or simply being a listening ear, his support has been invaluable. He’s truly all-in with Tie The Leash, and I couldn’t ask for a better partner in both life and business. This journey wouldn’t be the same without him by my side, and I’m endlessly grateful for his love, patience, and belief in me.
