Meet Tiffany López | Jewelry maker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany López and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
I would have to say the most important lesson this business has taught me is to over come fear! I had always dreamed of owning my own business, I wanted it so bad that fire burned in me but fear was always great. Fear of failure, fear of would they even buy from me, so many different fears would sit in my mind not letting me move! Until one day, enough was enough I over came it and realize failure is apart of growth, and there would be people who would buy from me, my mom and sister. Eventually it became friends and people I had never met in my life began to buy and love my work, it felt amazing to change the way I looked at fear, instead of it keeping me still and idol, I used it as a stepping stool to grow and believe in the gift God had given me. It was time to put to work all the ideas He had so profoundly placed in my heart!!!
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Molded.by.grace is a small business made up of handmade polymer clay earrings. I love what I do and the only thing I could think of that sets me apart is that I’m me, sounds weird right? But I’ve learned to stay true to myself what my craft is I love floral so I translate that onto my earrings and although there’s so many others who do the same we are all so very different in our own ways. I truly believe I am we’re I am today because I persisted, I kept working even in launches when not one person bought and it felt horrible. I never let that stop me I would launch again the next week and the next week. persistence is definitely the key, even when you become discouraged keep going it’s not easy but totally worth it! One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned recently is to value myself and my work, and in me valuing myself my customers will also value my work! My core values of molded.by.grace is to give back! That is my biggest goal is that this business be used as a vessel to give to others wether it be food, clothes, helping orphanages and missionaries in other countries whatever the need be that God indicates to me we be able to give back.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So my new found place that I love right now is the Dallas farmers market. The atmosphere is so cool and chill and there is so many small owned restaurants and business that you can support!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shout out will always be God first, He gave me this talent and I’m so grateful for it!!!! But the person who has mentored me, who has shown me how to unfold entrepreneurship is my dad! Since I was a little girl, he has shown me what hard work and dedication is, to unfold and put to use the talents that God has given me. I will never forget one piece of Advise he gave me at lunch one day, he said you don’t have to prove yourself to anyone the fire is already in you just walk forward, And every time I’ve felt like giving up those words hit my heart and I remember to just keep going and keep pushing forward! So I dedicate this shout out to him for all that he’s thought me and for believing in me.
