We had the good fortune of connecting with Thony Gold and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Thony, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my own business because I wanted financial freedom and to setup a pathway for my family to continue to benefit from non-linear income for generations to come. I have never enjoyed working for others and have always felt that I would be a great candidate for entrepreneurship.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
One of my most cherished passions is my modeling career and my ever evolving content creation side gigs. I have walked in over 15-20 fashion shows and have had the pleasure to work with various designers that are extremely talented and made me a part of their vision. I’ve also been blessed enough to be in 3 publications and editorial print focused on elevating black models in the Dallas market. What sets me apart as a model is the raw talent that I have cultivated through the help of dedicated coaches and mentors that I hold very dear. I love the camera and when I’m in front of it my body, facial expressions and intuition pairs together to create art in imagery.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I wanted to take a close friend on a tour of one of my favorite areas I would take them to Dallas, Texas. I would start off with taking them to a local spot to show off the pulse of Dallas in the daytime. Going into the evening I would then bring them to a steakhouse to finish off the night and maybe visit a cigar lounge afterwards.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give credit to Boom Kix Pow aka Zeallar for the collaboration, partnership & support over the years that has had a tremendous impact on my career and growth.
