We had the good fortune of connecting with Teresa Gonzalez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Teresa, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
One big thing that I have always waned to do is help people/families in need. In today’s society there are so many reasons why basic household chores can get behind. Things such as depression, single parents working multiple jobs with not enough time to complete household chores, postpartum depression, illness, grieving and more. For this reason my goal as owner of Pristine Clean is to give away a free basic cleaning to person/family in need. The goal is a minimum of 2 free cleanings a year, but as business grows so will the will free cleanings.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I feel like growing up in a single parent household, and then becoming a single parent has molded me to the person I am today. It has made me humble and a hard worker. Currently I do hold a full time job on top of starting my cleaning business. While it is not easy, I feel it is necessary to succeed. Especially with the inflation of gas, food and living expenses, which is what ultimately lead me to start Pristine Clean. Not only does it allow me to provide another source of income, it allows me to give back by providing an affordable Pristine cleaning service at an affordable rate, as well as provide jobs to my children.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am super blessed to live in Arlington, TX where there are many venues and things to see and do. I would start with brunch and mimosas at the Mimosa bar, Then to a sports game, depending on if it football or baseball season so it would be a Rangers Game at Globe life field or Cowboys game at the AT&T stadium. Then we could end the night at Texas Live where there are multiple bars, restaurants and club all in one area.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate/shout out to my husband & family. Without the support of my husband and family the start of a business would be so much more difficult.
