We had the good fortune of connecting with Teresa Cliff and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Teresa, what is the most important factor behind your success?
You have to find: know you’re voice and meaning; and honestly, it can change too. I used to have an idea of what mine was, but now, 15 years down the line, it’s changed. Which is as beautiful as it can be confusing, trust the roads you go down!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a hair and makeup artist by trade, going on 16 years now! It definitely hasn’t always been easy… it’s been a lot of lonely nights, a lot of missing events and time with friends but I don’t regret any of it. There’s a lot of late nights and always classes trying to better myself for my clients. I’m doing this for the bigger picture; a bigger than me cause and that makes it all worth it! I am here for all my girls and women, to embrace and find themselves and sexuality through beauty services.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I absolutely love our Dallas gayborhood! I even used to live over there for awhile and it was one of my favorite times. You can’t go wrong with eating at the Taphouse, or Streets fine chicken! I love going to the Round Up for some country dancing, pool, and my favorite, karaoke! TMC has a fun dance floor as well as live entertainment and dancers that are amazing!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My man is definitely my biggest fan and supporter! He’s always pushing me and gives the best constructive criticism and he helps me a lot with my brand! So he definitely deserves some credit for who and where I am today!
