We had the good fortune of connecting with Monique Jeter-Abraham and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Monique, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success / the success of your brand is honesty and compassion. I want women to know that the “end” results they see before them isn’t really the end. Daily, I focus on living a healthy lifestyle with my fibroid tumors, being positive, and being kind to myself. It’s a process and I work closely with my clients to show support and create solutions.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
MoeTivate Your Womb was an unplanned business. I developed fibroid tumors, ovarian cysts, and had two blood transfusions. After being told to have a hysterectomy and contemplating leaving this earth, a beautiful sistah introduced me to self care healing herbs. From there, I became a certified vaginal steam facilitator to educate all women on uterine health, its benefits from using natural herbs, and to give them hope. I also launched a men wellness line called “Men Need Love Too”. It’s an all natural capsule that focus on men’s health such as stamina, energy, brain alertness, memory, boost testosterone, sexual health and more. MoeTivate Your Womb has expanded with brand ambassadors in New York and South Africa.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of my favorite places to visit and hike is Jos, Nigeria (Plateau State). Riyom Rock Is a 3 tier rock that is located within a beautiful village with beautiful faces. One can make it a 2-3 hour visit. In Dallas, my favorite restaurant is Reggae Wings and Tings. They have the best Jamaican food, drinks, and music. I love the fact that it’s family oriented. Another great spot I love is V-Eats. Have you ever had such great vegan food? There is also a bridge next to the restaurant to walk the amazing food off. No one wants to feel sluggish.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Many that share the journey I have experienced often don’t have a support system. Praises to the most high for allowing me to have a supporting husband that’s natural at being an herbalist, a mother who looks after me with meal prepping, a niece who assists me with packages when things become overwhelming, and all my family and friends that have supported and donated to my business voluntarily.
