We had the good fortune of connecting with Tanicia Prioleau and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tanicia, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
I have experienced many trials where I have wanted to give up. However, in this journey, I have learned it is best to keep going. Perseverance is key despite difficulties or delays when achieving success.

I love some synonyms for the word perseverance: persistence, tenacity, determination, and endurance, to name a few; these characteristics are all essential for becoming productive. Therefore, we should always live by the P’s Patience and Perseverance.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a creative writer, it has been a great experience. I started writing at a young age but put down the pen and pad for a season. However, I kept writing technical documents for several companies as I am also an IT professional. After a few years, I started writing and started my blog site; when I began to write, it flowed naturally, and I knew it was a gift from God.

The main thing that sets me apart from others is anything I write is with the intent to help and encourage others, even to the point of seeing people set free. As someone reads my content, the desire is to ensure the reader leaves learning something new that will impact their life for the better.

I would love for the world to know and understand the authenticity of my story. I have learned it is about being authentic and relatable in any writing project. I look forward to working with different clients in 2023 and adding value to their life one story at a time.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I was born in Dallas and later migrated to the Arlington area. My week’s itinerary will be as follows:

We would enjoy a relaxing day at a local Spa in Dallas followed by dinner at Yard Birds restaurant. Then, we would travel to the Grapevine area to visit the mall for shopping and sightseeing. Finally, rest at a local hotel in Downtown Fort Worth while exploring the restaurants and shops in the Downtown Fort Worth area.
There are so many great places and endless spots in the Dallas-Fort Worth area we would have a great time. Anything from theaters, the Cowboys Stadium, Klyde Warren Park, and many other sites it would be quite an adventure.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to Jesus Christ, first and foremost, for the many gifts and talents he has blessed me with, allowing me to be a blessing to others. I also would like to shout out my local family and friends, my husband LaDarian, and my children Journee and Landen; they always keep me going.

A special shoutout loud to my family at Omega Ministries, as they are a true example of becoming a selfless servant and serving those in our community.
