We had the good fortune of connecting with T Donae and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi T, what are you inspired by?
I was inspired by the sounds of female hip hop. Southern female hip hop actually. As a young girl in the early 2000s i remember listening to Trina, Jackie o and Khia. As i gotten older i started to rediscover female rappers like Mia X, Gangsta Boo and Ghetto Twins. I’ve also watched the young ladies Megan the stallion, latto and Flo milli blow up over time and countless more. I just love hearing women be confident and fearless on the mic.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Well my art is film. It sets me apart because i truly enjoy archiving music. I’m excited about how the masses will enjoy my the interviews and vlogs on the beginning of artists before their careers took off. By building relationships with people. I think the building relationships part of art and music is lost. It was hard very hard to believe that i could solely start this business and only focus on women. To never give up no matter how hard it gets. I want the world to know that women don’t fit in a box. That they can do anything they want and look good doing it.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
So if you first you need to go to Grooves on Friday happy hour it’s the best.
Then later that night locker room.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want shout out to my brother Larry Allen he inspired me so much when it comes to working with Artist and blogging.
