Meet Sarah Gator | Dallas Dog Walker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Gator and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sarah, what do you attribute your success to?
The most import factor behind my success is consistency and dependability. Parents depend on me to help take care of their of their dogs while they are away. I consistently show up for the dogs & owners. If you say no too many times, the owners can find a new walker, I want them to know they can rely on me.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have been a dog walker in Dallas for 3 years. I service Dallas proper and am hiring dog walkers to service the suburbs of Dallas. As of now its just me and one other girl helping me. I plan to hire on one additional person this summer.
Each walk is 30 minutes & the walk is personalized to each dog. Some dogs prefer playing fetch, while others could sniff the same spot for 15 minutes. Most of the dogs are walked once at a time unless the dogs know each other prior. Then I will walk them together. I have been with some of my dog families now for 3 years while other families just 6 months. I am accepting new clients that are looking for repeat walks, I do not accept 1 time walks as I believe its beneficial to build a relationship with my dogs.
I was able to grow my business through social media. I have 80k followers on tik tok and 30k followers on instagram. If it wasnt for social media, my business would not be where I am today. Videos are the best form of advertisement. 95% of my business has come from social media, 5% is through word of mouth.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Breakfast- Bagels from Shugs

Lunch: I really enjoy going to Tacos La Banqueta for an easy lunch or Las Palmas for a good Patio Lunch,

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
