We had the good fortune of connecting with Ricardo Sieveking and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ricardo, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my team. Without the team of Enrique Tomas Dallas, Proyecto Tulum, and Mezcal Zunte this will never be possible. I am very grateful for their time, energy, and effort to achieve our potential. In all concepts, we have been doing something different and new to the American market, but with determination, team work, faith, and love we are starting to reach our full potential and making a name for ourselves. The best is yet to come! I am very grateful to lead a team of fantastic people.
What should our readers know about your business?
Vanderbilt Capital, LLC is a venture builder that focuses on unique Food and Beverage concepts. Enrique Tomas Dallas is a contemporary Spanish concept that has a high level restaurant, Spanish store and catering, and a cocktail and tapas lounge. Enrique Tomas Dallas is unique because we have the best Jamón Ibérico in the world, we are also the restaurant/store that most sells Jamón Ibérico in the USA. In addition to Jamón Ibérico, which is to die for, we offer a contemporary Spanish cuisine menu in the restaurant led by chef Jaume Barnadas, and a late night craft cocktails and tapas at our Ibiza Lounge featuring a DJ and live music. Although Enrique Tomas is a big company in Europe and LATAM, the US expansion is being lead by young entrepreneurs and SMU Alumni based in Dallas, TX. Opening a restaurant is always difficult, but opening one month before a global pandemic is extremely difficult. The team of Enrique Tomas Dallas has overcome many challenges this year, but with a couple of days to our 1 year anniversary (Feb 12, 2021), we are very proud of what we have achieve, and we are here to stay!
