Hi Ozjonae, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When I reflect on my decision to start my own business, it stems from an unwavering inner fire that compels me to take action. There are moments when I find myself lost, questioning why I care so deeply. However, my aspirations push me forward, reminding me that I genuinely want to explore the extent of my potential.

It was through my journey of self-discovery, that I realized that I’d rather work hard for my own dreams instead of dedicating my efforts to someone else’s vision. Creating my business would allow me to direct my determination towards building a future that aligns with my goals.

As a mom, my motivation is even stronger. I desire a life of ease and fulfillment for both my daughter and myself, where our time is valued. I am committed to this journey while taking the necessary steps towards manifesting the life I desire—for both my daughter and myself—a life defined by ease and fulfillment.

I have a story to tell and I know that my story can inspire others. I am grateful for this platform and the opportunities it provides.

What should our readers know about your business?
Sheiq Arrangements is a luxury gifting business that was launched just over a month ago. The name “Sheiq” is our unique version of the word “chic,” representing the aesthetic and vision behind our brand. What sets us apart is our genuine passion for love, excitement, and an overall zest for life.

Starting a new business is never easy, but our top priority, besides satisfying our clients, is to establish and grow our name in the market. The inspiration for Sheiq Arrangements dates back to when I was around 7 or 8 years old. I discovered my love for making things beautiful, especially using roses. It all began as I wanted to bring happiness to my mom, who raised me single-handedly.

The foundation of Sheiq Arrangements is built on love and the joy of making others happy through our crafted gestures. We want the world to know that our brand is not just about luxury gifting, but about the emotional connections we create through our arrangements.

As we continue to grow, we are excited to expand our reach and touch more lives with the essence of love and beauty. Our journey is just beginning!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For a week-long trip to show my best friend the best time ever, here’s our itinerary:

(Friday):
Evening: Friday night bar hop in Deep Ellum. This area offers a fun nightlife scene with a variety of bars, live music venues, and a great atmosphere.

(Saturday):
Start with a relaxing day at Spa Castle, a unique Korean-inspired spa with various saunas, pools, and treatments to unwind and rejuvenate. Getting a hotel there is an option too!

(Sunday)
Brunch or Lunch: Head to Mexican Sugar for a good time with an unbeatable rooftop view. The food is exceptional, and the service is top-notch.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

I would like to dedicate my Shoutout to my grandma. She deserves so much credit and recognition in my story because she has been a constant pillar of support in my life, especially when it comes to helping with my daughter. Her selflessness and love have made it possible for me to pursue my dreams, including getting a full-time job after moving to Texas, going to school and time for my business.

My grandma’s willingness to help out in any way she can is my blessing. Her presence in our lives has made a significant impact, and I owe a great deal of what I am able to achieve. For all the love, care, and wisdom she brings into our lives, I am forever grateful. My grandma’s support has been a driving force behind my journey.

I would also like to give a Shoutout to my mom, she remains my rock and moral support, and I am incredibly grateful for her presence in my life. I want to express my deep appreciation for everything she has done and continues to do. My mom’s support has been instrumental in shaping my journey. My mom’s dedication to her own career and the sacrifices she makes for our family inspire me to work hard and pursue my dreams. She has taught me the value of perseverance and determination.

I want to recognize and appreciate both my grandma and my mom for the pivotal roles they play in my life. They have both been essential in allowing me to pursue my dreams and create a better future for myself and my daughter. Their love, support, and sacrifices are immeasurable, and I will forever be grateful for their presence in my life.
