We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Minzie and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to be able to be financially stable, be able to pay off student loans, and create a life worth living for me and my family and I want to give my resources to those who need it and to be able to give grants to other small businesses and to help other communities.

What should our readers know about your business?
I run a transportation logistics company and what I feel sets me aside is that I try to teach, educate, and make sure I have all my clients best interests that may not be in my expertise. It took time, consistency, and knowing how to adapt and how to utilize information and not get overloaded or burnt out in the process. I’m still learning how to have a balance and take care of my health, my mind, and the physical aspects of my body but some days are hectic and I have to go head on into the chaos and that’s what makes it exciting.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Atlanta has so many different things to do but it’s all low-key. It’s different pop ups and festivals for any hobby or interest you have, you just have to plan the dates, but a regular day in Atlanta for me is the High Art Museum or the Botanical Gardens. But for visitors there’s the Coca Cola factory, the Aquarium, CNN Center, Cartoon Network Headquarters, State Farm Arena, Mercedes Benz Stadium, and Truist Park.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I give credit to God, my ancestors, my grandparents, parents, friends, teachers and Don Miguel Ruiz, the author of The Four Agreements. That book has challenged my inner perspectives to give me the courage to go on in my day to day emotions, problems, and challenges that could take my focus off of my businesses.
