We had the good fortune of connecting with Nancy Manriquez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nancy, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
I believe that you have to keep going in life no matter what. Staying positive and being surrounded by people who are positive will give you that strength to keep going in what ever it is that you are going for. I don’t want to believe in giving up. I like to push my self 

What should our readers know about your business?
I do full don’t waxing services Lash lifts and lash/brow tinting. I like to make sure everyone leaves happy. I think that I’m such a perfectionist and clients love that. If I see hair you better believe I’m getting it. I love to see clients leave happy and it makes me even happier when they come back the second time because they I get to hear their results from the waxing service or there lash lift service and they are really happy. I worked for a waxing the city where I got my training and experience. I learned a lot of things. And then I decided to go out on my own. I felt confident, strong and I have Faith to do what I love to do. I felt it was not had for me to be here where I’m at it was hard for me when I worked for waxing the city just because I have 3 children that I have to attend to. Now I have the opportunity to set my schedule and work around my children. I have learned to give it a try and let nothing get in the way of doing something that I really want to do, something that I love to do.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely take her to Hello dumpling I love this place. I would show her where I work and what I do have her get a service done. We could go Sephora shopping. Or Ulta. We could go to forever21. If there was a beauty expo I wold like to take her we could learn so much.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents and my very close neighbors for being there for me in helping me with my children. Telling me to just go for it in trying to get to where I am at now.
