We had the good fortune of connecting with Myesha Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Myesha, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
The most important thing I believe is making sure we’re not focused on what’s happening now, but setting my son up for the future. I also make sure he’s apart of or sees me doing the gritty work for the business. Even if he doesn’t inherit tons of money from it, he will know all that it takes and that’s major because we live in a social media world where you see a facade and ppl feel like that’s a reality, but they don’t see the grind it takes.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Definitely not easy, but in the end I have faith that it will be worth it. My main focus is making and sharing trendy clothes that start conversations and spread messages of hope about Jesus and/or cultural matters. So many people get caught up in the things of the world and what people can see, but I want to speak to, give hope, and encourage development towards the Intangible things, such as the spirit and matters of the heart.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh man. I’m embarrassed to say that I am such a homebody lol. This is something I’m working on, but I would say Epic Waters, Aunt Irene’s, the drive in movies, The Harbor, Las Renitas on Jefferson Blvd (my favorite, and Pathway of Life Church (Military Blvd)! I’m working on being better about getting out and finding a balance between work and pleasure lol 😂

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shoutout to Kayden, my whole heart, who pushes me to work towards being the best that I can possibly be. If it were not for Kayden I would probably have zero drive or desire to keep fighting for a better life.
