We had the good fortune of connecting with Manny Fresco and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Manny, what matters most to you?
The value of principle that matters to me the most is plain and simple, just treat everyone with kindness and respect. If you treat everyone with kindness and respect, it just makes everything that much better. From business to personal relationships.
What should our readers know about your business?
I feel like what sets me apart from others is that I don’t limit myself to specific industry, unlike most. I’ve done just about every kind of video work out there. What I am most proud of is how far I have gone coming from nothing. Hard work and dedication truly does payoff. How I got to where I am at today was a lot of hard work and determination to be better and better than I was yesterday. I learned that it’s hard to move forward when you’re always trying to play it safe. Never be afraid to take a chance on yourself. I love doing what I do for a living. It’s not a job for me, but more of a social responsibility. Plus I love helping people bring their visual ideas come to life, and to help businesses grow with my services.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s very hard to plan a week long trip for my best friend visiting with all this Covid stuff going on. But if we were back to normal, my best friend would fly in on a Monday late afternoon and we would get ready for a chill dinner at Moxie’s in uptown Dallas. Tuesday during the day we would go checkout the Ross Perot Museum and catch an early dinner Ferris Wheeler’s BBQ. After dinner, I will take my friend to SideBar in uptown for a night out. Wednesday during the day we can checkout the Dallas Aquarium, have dinner at Ocean Prime, then go to Candle Room for a night out. Thursday we will go to Six Flags during the day, dinner at Mike’s Chicken on Maple for some of the best fried chicken around. Then we will go to Citizen for a night out. Friday will be Ripley’s Believe It Or Not during the day, then dinner at Nick and Sam’s before going to Bottled Blonde for a night out. Saturday during the day we will go shopping at North Park Mall and Galleria Mall, then dinner at Bistro 31 in Highland Park Village. Then go to Stirr for some drinks. Sunday we will get brunch at The Common Table before starting Sunday funday at Backyard and Bottled Blonde.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
BIG shoutout to my brother from another mother, Dez Bryant. His positivity, support, love, mentorship, and encouragement goes a long way. Not only for me, but for many others as well. He motivates and encourages everyone around him to just be their better selves.
