Hi LONNIE, what principle do you value most?
I value the power of belief as the highest principle in our world. Our beliefs shape our reality in our daily life. How we feel emotionally about ourselves, our abilities, and the environment around us directly influences our beliefs, decisions, and ultimately, our future selves. Our God given power of belief strengthen us to overcome all obstacles, pursue our dreams, and manifest our abundance of potential. It fuels resilience in the face of adversity and serves as the driving force behind personal growth and achievement. Having the power within you to say, I AM ENOUGH”, transforms all possibilities into realities and unlocks the extraordinary potential within each of us.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The Believers USA initiative was started to offer a different way of thinking about youth sports development. Most teams are focused on maintaining the status quo of winning games leaving no room to focus on the player’s skill set and human development. We often forget that there are only 450 NBA player jobs available each year. Every AAU player will not be blessed with the athleticism to train to become superstars like LeBron, Bosh, or Kyrie.

Instead, every player does have the opportunity to become next NBA professional on many levels to live out their NBA dreams in a different light. The choices we make with our illusions of self-confidence that we carry with us in life profoundly impact the outcome of games and the life development of the player. I am a believer in the best in people in our world. With the dramatic shift in social pressure, we at times can struggle remember what make each of us achievers. Regardless of where you are in your present or where you want to be in your future, I believe we all have the ability to manifest a brighter future and transform our dreams into reality.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
