We had the good fortune of connecting with Kira Dionne and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kira, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is making myself and my family proud. I have overcome so many obstacles and beat every odd that was against me. I really feel like everything I went through led up to this moment for me to walk in my season.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the owner of Kira Dionne Wellness and Daydream by Dionne boutique. I really just kept promoting myself and putting myself out there even when I felt discouraged. I bet all my chips on myself and failure just wasn’t/ isn’t an option. I have an entrepreneurial spirit so being in entrepreneur is the only option for me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my bestie to the turkey leg hut, prospect park, and the galleria mall.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shout out to my grandmother she has had the largest impact in my life. She is literally keeps me on track, molded my character, and keeps me anchored. To my mom who is literally like my best friend (I literally call her a hundred times a day). Also like to give a shout out to my sister, dad, Cousins, aunts and uncles. They are the most supportive loving family Anyone could ever ask for. I would also like to shoutout to the special person in life my partner who listen to all my crazy rants.
