Hi Kandra, can you tell us about an impactful book you’ve read and why you liked it or what impact it had on you?
The Power of now by Ekhart Tolle in this book he speaks about how everything you do revolves around we’re you are right now. If you don’t look deep into where you are mentally, spiritually, financially etc how can you divtyour future how can you plan for greatness if you aren’t familiar with who you are right now? Most people loose them selves in the past or what everyone else is doing. Reading this helped me get to know myself in the space I’m in right now! Knowing the present me guided me through success, I see my future clearly

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Kreations from Kolour is a service that highlights every customer aiming to lift spirits. As a young mother I had days where I couldn’t get new things or get my hair done etc which made me feel down sometimes drained when I would have time to myself I’d get dolled up it made me feel so good! I wanted everyone in the world to feel this way. Today I can say I’m doing just that and that makes the work worth it

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My first stop for breakfast or brunch would be Jonathan’s so delicious. For some good music and happy hour Heroes Lounge is the place to be great food, drinks, DJ’s did I mention the live band? For activities Andretti indoor carting
And downtown Dallas of course it’s beautiful

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to give a shoutout to my 2 beautiful little girls. They are my reason I wake up everyday and strive for greatness I wouldn’t know where’d I be without them. My mother whose strength I have admired my whole life, showing me that giving up isn’t a option
