We had the good fortune of connecting with Judith Ferguson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Judith, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Self-discipline is the most important factor behind success. Especially when you are starting to emerge. There will be so many opportunities opening for you. But if you cannot set boundaries and respect yourself enough to follow through with the boundaries (or even the schedule you set for the day) then how can you expect others to follow through? How can you expect the universe to keep blessing you with an abundance of opportunity? The first and best victory is to conquer yourself. Once that happens you can accomplish many things through yourself and Christ.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am most proud of the young girls I inspire online. I love when others feel empowered to do something based off my posts/energy. I think that should be the point of being an influencer. Not to just sell things but to empower others to bravely take the next step in their lives and create something great.
But to get to this point was not easy. What helps me overcome challenges such as self-doubt and anxiety is to lean into the creative community, family, and my weekly yoga sessions for support. It truly takes a village to raise a person. To become the artist I am today, I surround myself with a village of good energy. That’s how my art remains positive.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
GELATOS
I am a HUGE fan of gelatos. My #1 spot for gelatos is Botolino Gelato Artigianale in Lower Greenville. Voted the best ice cream by Big D. There are so many diary and non diary options. All of the gelatos are hand made in the back of the store. The menu changes every week but luckily, you can sample all the flavors. I really enjoy the cheesecake flavor on a cone. There’s a huge parking lot behind the store, which is really convenient for a busy place like Lower Greenville.
Did I mention that there are gelatos there? It’s really good!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to take the time to shoutout Rich Cirminello for building a really great modeling portfolio.
