We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremy Brandt and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeremy, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I’ve found that after starting multiple companies, the success of a brand always comes back to the people involved. A brand is really defined by the impression and feeling others have of it, and by having the best people in the world behind our brands and running offices across the country, it ensures the integrity, trust, quality, and positive feelings people have when they see our advertising or branding. For example, at WeBuyHouses.com, we have worked with millions of home sellers across the country and partnered with some of the most recognized real estate companies in the industry. We are obsessive about protecting our brand and always doing the right thing with clients, partners, and consumers.
What should our readers know about your business?
Our businesses are all dedicated to transforming the residential real estate market and work with each other. WeBuyHouses.com is recognized nationwide as a trusted home buyer, and I am proud that from humble beginnings we’ve endured through the ups and downs of the real estate market and continued to grow despite the pandemic. This growth is a testament to the owners of our 80+ offices throughout the country. Their ingenuity, creative problem solving, and dedication to getting things done has built a national home buying organization that is second to none. A great lesson I have learned over the years is the power of getting smart people together so they can learn from one another. That’s why we started our annual Mastermind Meeting for all our WeBuyHouses.com business owners across the country. We don’t bring in paid speakers, we just facilitate great discussion between some of the smartest real estate investors in the country, and we all learn from each other.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex has an amazing array of sporting venues, restaurants, and great entertainment! In Fort Worth, visit Bass Performance Hall for a show, then relax at Silverleaf Cigar Lounge for a cigar and drinks or Scat Jazz Lounge for great music. On the Dallas side, take a walk on the Katy Trail then stop for a drink at the Katy Trail Ice House. Have dinner at Javier’s Gourmet Mexicano which has been serving fantastic Mexican food since 1977. Be sure and see a game or at least take a tour of AT&T Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys, watch a rodeo or concert at the brand new Dickies Arena. Walk around the Fort Worth Stockyards for a trip to the old west. Finally, eat some authentic Japanese food at Shinjuku Station!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) has had a profound impact on my entrepreneurial and life journey. A global not for profit organization dedicated to supporting and growing entrepreneurs, EO has saved me from countless mistakes and connected me with a community of business owners that is second to none. The hundreds of friends I have made around the globe have taught me much about leadership, humility, business, and what really matters in life. I joined the group in my 20s and joined the local board of directors. For over 15 years I have dedicated time, energy, money, and expertise to the organization and other entrepreneurs around the globe – from serving as President of the Dallas chapter, to founding a chapter in Fort Worth, to chairing the global Governance Committee – working with our 14,000+ members worldwide. I can’t stress enough how much business owners need a strong peer group they can learn from and contribute to. For me, this group is Entrepreneurs’ Organization.
