We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Daniel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factors behind the success of my brand is

1 Hard work and Dedication. If you strive to be the best you have to get up early in the morning and work hard and stay late at night until it’s completed. You really have to stay committed, and know that building a brand takes time.No brand was formed over night.

2 Respect the art form and the people that are in it with you the because you never know who’s watching you. Business days of being perform as we speak and if you’re out here looking reckless on social media you could lose out on a lot of business deals.

3 Diversity is the key.Not every brand is created equal,so therefore research the brand that you want to provide to a consumer that doesn’t know they need it.Mine is diversity ,Being able to play all sorts of crowds and ages has taken my brand to the next level.

4 Create business opportunities for yourself. If you have a brand that can provide service to a business, and you can provide a service without payment can be the best thing for your brand. It doesn’t hurt to be creative with a business owner, and sometime pass on a high payout in return for greater opportunity for the future. I call it marking Business friends.
Last but not least, and probably the most important.

5.Great Friends equal Brand success!
Friendship is the most important thing on my list. Meeting new people every event I’m involved in has affecting my brand tremendously. These friendship allow me to explore new places. Try knew things. Was able to experience a lot in mind 15 year career by creating great friendships with people.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Best thing about being a DJ is the crowds reaction. There is nothing better than seeing people enjoying themselves.Being able to read diversity crowds, and using creative playlist during live sets has set me apart from the rest. Anyone can play music, but as a dj your playing people’s memories. Through a pandemic I was blessed to be apart of 2 motion pictures filmed in Oklahoma. One role was a Secret Service agent in the Ronald Reagan bio pic along side Dennis Quaid who is playing Ronald Reagan. They pause production due to a covid out break with the film crew. And then I went from being a orderly to Auditioning for a speaking role as a psych doctor in a movie called The Unbreakable Boy starring Zachary Levi From the movie Shazam. The previous guy who had the role came in close contact with somebody with COVID-19,and that was the first and only time I was happy about COVID-19. And all thanks go to my good friend Chris Freihofer and his great staff.
Making friends is how I’m able to dj for over 15 years. Respect your fellow human and blessing will come down is pretty much is my motto.
Trying to stay relevant during a pandemic is very difficult especially when you have a brand in entertainment. When March 2020 hit and all entertainment shut down I figure out how to take my brand to the next level by dj live with a crispy sound. With purchasing of a couple of items I started having brunch sessions on the weekend FB live from my kitchen while my fiancé ( Juliet )cooked brunch. And I created The Living Room Series on my IGTV Page where Artist can lay their Freestyle, record vocals or play instrument while I’m djing a chilled instrumental. This allowed me to Dj virtually for The Bomb Factory On two separate occasions (Thanks Chelsey and The Bomb Factory Crew Dallas Tx) My lesson learned is always be a prepared stay one step ahead of the game. Embrace technology and invest in yourself to put out a better quality brand for your consumer. People tend to forget that’s why staying relevant is a key especially during a pandemic. I’m the hardest worker you’ll ever find in this field. Djing isn’t just pressing play or fist pumping , there is a creative science behind picking music for diverse ages and faces.Something that I worked long and hard at.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A week around the town would involve us eating at one of our local eateries either in Bricktown area on downtown okc, Plaza district for a Slice from Empire, The Mule for a Big Ass Grilled cheese ,The Paseo Arts District,or Vast on top of the of the Devon Tower Overlooking the view of Oklahoma Definitely take them to the bombing memorial. I feel like that is something everyone should experience when visiting Oklahoma City.Going to a Okc Thunder game is a must. That free play good drinks at flashback retropub . Flashback RetroPub is a 80s 90s themed bar with old school arcade games something like over 200 games.
