We had the good fortune of connecting with Frankie Blair and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Frankie, how do you think about risk?
For me, risk is not just about stepping into the unknown; it’s about embracing the possibility of growth and transformation. As an actress, creator, and producer, risk is inherent in every project I take on. Whether it’s developing a new storyline, backing an untested concept, or stepping into a role I’ve never played before, every risk is an opportunity to expand my horizons and push the boundaries of what I can do.

In my career, I’ve learned that risk is often tied to authenticity. The more I take risks in staying true to my vision—whether in the stories I tell or the roles I choose—the more I find my voice and my purpose. There were certainly moments when I had to make decisions that seemed uncertain, but those are the moments that often define the trajectory of your career and help you stand out.

For example, leaving behind the conventional path and choosing to chase my dreams by moving away from my family in Dallas, TX to Los Angeles, CA, alone was a huge risk I took. But that leap opened up a world of opportunities and allowed me to immerse myself in an environment where creativity thrives. It was a decision that tested my resilience, but it also led me to connect with like-minded individuals and pursue a career that truly resonated with my values. Taking risks, especially calculated ones, is what keeps the work exciting and fulfilling. To me, it’s about trusting God first and foremost, trusting yourself, trusting the process, and understanding that even if you fail, the lessons learned are priceless.

Ultimately, risk is not something to fear—it’s something to embrace. It’s what keeps me moving forward and reminds me that the greatest rewards often lie just outside of our comfort zones.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart is my relentless commitment to growth—both as an artist and as an individual. I see every experience, whether positive or challenging, as an opportunity to evolve. In a world that is constantly changing, I believe in adapting and expanding my skill set to stay relevant, innovative, and impactful. Whether I’m exploring new storytelling techniques, embracing cutting-edge technology in production, or taking on diverse roles, I’m always seeking ways to push boundaries and deepen my craft.

But what truly drives me is my belief in the power of collaboration and community. I’ve learned that success isn’t just about individual achievement; it’s about lifting others up along the way. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work with a talented group of creatives who have taught me that we are stronger together. Whether it’s offering support to fellow artists, amplifying voices that are often overlooked, or sharing knowledge, I strive to foster an environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. I’m passionate about helping to create an industry that’s more inclusive, supportive, and innovative—one where we all rise together.

Of course, none of this has been easy. The path to where I am today has been full of challenges, setbacks, and moments of doubt. But I am resilient. I’ve learned to embrace adversity not as an obstacle, but as a stepping stone. Each challenge has been an invaluable lesson, teaching me how to persevere and keep pushing forward. I’ve come to understand that success is not a destination—it’s a journey. And it’s the lessons learned along the way that shape not only the work I do but the person I am becoming.

Above all, I want the world to know that my story is not just about individual success; it’s about creating a meaningful impact. I aim to leave a legacy that reflects my dedication to both the craft and the community, to constantly evolve and grow, and to create a space where others can thrive alongside me. My journey is about more than achieving my own dreams—it’s about helping others realize theirs, too.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting Dallas and I wanted to show them the ultimate luxury experience, I’d create an itinerary that mixes sophistication, indulgence, and a bit of local flair. Dallas offers a wealth of high-end dining, stylish hotels, luxe spas, and chic entertainment, so here’s how I’d make the week unforgettable. We’d start with a stay at The Joule, a trendy five-star hotel, followed by a decadent dinner at Perry’s Steakhouse. The next day, we’d enjoy brunch at The Rustic, do some luxury shopping at Highland Park Village, and explore the cultural gems of the Dallas Arts District before dinner at the elegant Le Bilboquet. Day 3 would focus on relaxation, with a spa retreat at The Ritz-Carlton, lunch at Spoon Bar & Kitchen, and dinner at the upscale The Mansion Restaurant, topped off with cocktails at The Gallery Rooftop Lounge. A scenic day trip to a private vineyard in the Texas Hill Country is on Day 4, followed by dinner at Javier’s Gourmet Mexicano for an elevated take on Mexican cuisine. Day 5 combines excitement with luxury, starting with brunch at Cowboy Star, a visit to the Dallas Arboretum, and a night out at the exclusive The Nines nightclub. On Day 6, we’d brunch at Taverna, spend the afternoon at the prestigious Dallas Country Club, and indulge in a memorable dinner at Mansion on Turtle Creek, ending with a nightcap at The Perry Hotel Rooftop Bar. For the final day, we’d relax with brunch at Bread Winners Café, visit the Sixth Floor Museum, and enjoy a grand farewell dinner at Burt’s Bistro, followed by cocktails at The Library Bar at Hotel Crescent Court. This week would be the perfect mix of indulgence, culture, and unforgettable Dallas luxury.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my Shoutout to the incredible people who have shaped my journey—my family, friends, and fellow creators. Each person I’ve crossed paths with, whether in a small or significant way, has contributed to who I am today. My family, with their unwavering faith and constant prayers, have been my foundation. My friends, who believe in me wholeheartedly, inspire me to reach for more. And to the talented creatives I’ve had the honor of working with—those who’ve cast me in a role, guided me, and shared in the struggles and triumphs of this industry—thank you for your support and encouragement. In this field, where the path can often feel uncertain, these connections are a reminder that we are never alone on our journey. Every word of encouragement, every moment of belief, has been a stepping stone toward my growth and success.
