We had the good fortune of connecting with Felicia Clanton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Felicia, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success and the success of our brand is our compassion for those who have lost a loved one. We understand what a family is going through when someone they love is no longer around. The difficulties are physical, emotional, mental, and even sometimes spiritual.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I own Little Darlings Child Care in Oklahoma City. We have been in business for over 25 years. And I am also the owner of Fabulous Funeral Crownings of Oklahoma City which also does work abroad. I our crowning business we get the opportunity to create an unforgettable experience for families during funerals and grave side services. With pageantry, procession, music and lastly a presentation of a beautiful crown to the family to remember their loved one. What sets us apart is the talent and gifting of each person on out team. They are unique and have unforgettable impact on the the deceased family and friends.
What sets us apart is sensitivity and forethought. Not only do we prepare each experience out to be unique but we also make tailor them to the family”s specifications.
We are proud that over the years we have had many challenges and especially last year with covid we overcame each challenge and saw families encouraged and blessed.
I got to where I am professionally by early on being asked to do poems and special events then at funerals. In time it came to me to present crowns according to scripture to families.
We want the world to know that when a loved one passes its a sad occasion but it is a special occasion. It is important to make it as unforgettable as possible so each memory is cherished.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
