We had the good fortune of connecting with Exavier Woodmansee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Exavier, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I believe my business offers a story to be told about the every day people of the world we live in.Whether its family portraits, couples together, pet photos, performing artist, of just street photography, each image captures something for everyone to remember and continue to tell stories about it.
The World – I want my photos to have an impact on each individual who views them. Whether they appreciate the sharpness and quality, or the photo offers a story to be told/interpreted, it’s enough to be thought provoking and leave a lasting imapct!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What I try to have set me apart from other photographers is my creativity. I take my creativeness and apply that to street photography which opens up new way I see the world around me. Exploring these familiar areas since owning my cameras feels like new angles opened up, new focus points, and better ways of framing is how I see the streets around me.

I’m most proud of the candid moments I’ve taken of people living their lives, being happy, being together, being in the moment. It is truly those moments that I’ve captured that give me motivation to keep going.
Those opportunities taught me to show love back to the people I capture those times for. From cool pictures of their car to them smiling while dancing, the genuine reaction, watching their face light up once I share the images does bring a sense of joy, and that definitely makes it worth it

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Trinity Groves district is a must – the restaurants there are amazing but hitting Sum Dang Good Chinese is my favorite. 5 minutes away head over to the Fabrication Yard, the photo op spots are endless, the art put up on the walls and alleyway are immaculate, even the events hosted there have been amazing, and there is just a sense of culture in that area!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shoutout to everyone who was apart of this journey and supported in any way they could. Close family who was there to encourage me to go out and appreciated the work they saw me put out.
The ORGANIZED car community – they were the first community I joined to learn how to photograph my subjects, meet so many amazing people to learn from, and provide them with quality memories!
Lastly those I met through my journey throughout the city. Those people have opened up my mind and taught me the different skills/paths to take my skills. More than just portraits – take my skills to sports, art performances, weddings, and so much more!
