We had the good fortune of connecting with Erin Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Erin, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I had a friend about 5 years ago ask me to take some boudoir photos of her before she got married. I was already a family and newborn photographer so this just sounded fun. The way she reacted to her photos just made my heart soar. I decided at that time I wanted to change my specialty. Having an abusive past and of course being a woman and all having not nice thoughts about ourselves I wanted women to feel the beauty that boudoir photography gives them.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a Boudoir Photographer and have my Boudoir business out of McKinney. My goal is to empower woman and help them see themselves as the beautiful in their skin.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
If it weren’t for the love and support of my husband and kids (Clay, Elizabeth, Eden, & Emma) I wouldn’t be where I am today. Through all the long nights and weekends they were there pushing me to pursue my dreams.
