We had the good fortune of connecting with SIBLFE and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi SIBLFE, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We’ve always wanted to do music together. When the pandemic happened it allowed us to talk more and to create together in a way that we had imagined. The world as we knew it was different and our thoughts were filled with many questions. We wrote a song about thoughts called What Am I Thinking and we met an incredible producer in Ft Worth that we had been watching for a while.

Because we live in different cities we knew that there would be a sacrifice and one of us would commute. As we were going through the process of recording. We began to talk about what we would call our sibling duo. We call ourselves SIBLFE which for us means doing life together with the people you love.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We are a sibling duo who sing and write music together. We have a unique sound that combines elements of gospel, dance, and pop. We both live in Texas, but in different cities, Dallas and Houston. This year, we released two singles, What Am I Thinking and Jesus Saves. We’re currently working on our upcoming EP, which we’re very excited about. We have wonderful families who support the SIBLFE vision, which isn’t just about us, but about people and family (whether by origin or choice). It’s important to us that our family does life together, which sometimes necessitates accountability, difficult conversations, and forgiveness. We want to see people love through their preference and settle their differences in order to fully embrace SIBLFE.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In Deep Ellum there’s an ice cream place called Jeni that is so good! The Biscuit Bar has the best chicken not a waffle which taste like chicken and waffles. True Food Kitchen is a must for health eating and they have the tastiest lemonades. Northpark Mall for some shopping. The ATT Center downtown is really cool and then we have to go the Star where the cowboys practice and to Arlington to the the playing field of our Cowboys.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Dami “Mr. Damention”Adeoye and the team that he is building at New Damention Studios.  The care for the artist, the experience and creativity is unmatched.  Will comes from Houston to Dallas and then we drive an hour just to record with Dami. He takes the vulnerability of what you hear and say and creates right in front of you something that bold, unique and sound worthy.
