We had the good fortune of connecting with Ele Michele and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ele, what are you most passionate about?
I am most passionate about using my gift of gab to inform, influence, and inspire the masses. I feel it is my God-give purpose.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Whatever I set out to do, I ensure that there are multiple benefits attached. My feat in the real estate industry was driven by a few different motives; to provide better customer service, make ends meet, and to provide myself shelter. Fast forward to now, I have been in the industry for 9 years, which began on the multi-family end but is now extending into single family, commercial, and more since I have obtained my real estate license. I worked diligently and remained steadfast on my goals. I stayed loyal and worked my way up the ladder from leasing assistant to property manager to licensed realtor all before the age of 30. I always say, “Things are easier DONE than SAID.” There’s nothing to it but to do it. If life presents the opportunity, you take it, and you make it work for YOU! I’ve learned, and am learning, how to manage working relationships, promote myself, tie my brands together, and so much more. What I would want my Homies to know is the difference between “second guessing” and “double checking”. One is more conducive to the process and will save you lots of time. Believe in yourself, never underestimate the power of a baby step, and never give up!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Stuff is always happening on the weekend so I’d start there! Friday, I’d hang out in Fort Worth for a more laid back, chill, mild turn up. Brunch is poppin’ in Sundance Square! Why not burn off those calories taking a stroll through the Stock Yards? We could snap a pic on a real bull and grab some homeade treats from some of the shops along the strip. After that, we could do some shopping at the Hulen Mall. Later on, we could eat off of Crockett Row before bar hopping down West 7th. Saturday, we’d grab some brunch in Lower Greenville before visiting Buffalo Exchange to buy/sell/trade some lightly loved fashions! I’m sure there’d be a day party to hit up in Uptown where we can day drink and hit hookahs on a shady patio. I’d totally be up for a quick flick at Angelica Movie Theater in Mockingbird Station. There’s even a couple of places to grab a bite afterwards! As the night nears, we could hit Deep Ellum for arcade games, eclectic eats, and live music. This area is great to party in too, if you’re looking for a casual night out! If Deep Ellum is too divey for you, we can stroll to one of the clubs in the “Gayborhood” for more glitz and glam!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to shout out my family; especially, my mother, sister, and significant other. They are very supportive of my dreams and keep me motivated! I would also like to shout out a couple of Homies whom have shared their experiences, insight, and time to help me along my journey. Last but not least, my therapist for reminding me that I have what it takes and that I am on the right path.
