We had the good fortune of connecting with Early Birds Club – Teens (EBC Teens) and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Early Birds Club – Teens, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
EBC Teens empowers the youth of the world to build their own inner stability through discipline, positivity, and acts of service. As a youth organization, we aim to create a global community of powerful citizens and compassionate leaders. Composed of young adults between 13 and 23, this platform drives the youth to consciously work towards creating one world – one family. EBC Teens encourages teens to use their voices to speak about current events and topics that matter to them. It is vital for today’s youth to have confidence in their opinions.
We provide a platform for teens that grows their spirit and gives them a chance to interact with people from all walks of life. We inspire teens in hopes of creating a world that is better, cleaner, and more sensitive for the next generations to take forward. By instilling meaningful values in teens, we help them gain the skills and self-confidence to build their own success. In that sense, our club is a bridge between a child’s potential and an adult’s power to benefit the global community.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
EBC Teens delivers people of the world to the world. When you have time for yourself, you have time for the world too. As EBC Teens, we seek to create a generation that has time to invest in their own well-being as well as time to dedicate to the growth of the global society.
To achieve this, our club encourages the youth to arise early in the morning and follow a simple yet significant routine. Inclusive of calming yoga, reassuring affirmations, and motivational quotes, our routine sets the tone for a positive and purposeful day, everyday.
In fact, all our members interact in a global group on the telegram app. Rather than a barrage of texts, you’ll find zealous individuals brainstorming ways to make a positive difference in their community, such as planting fruit trees near forests to feed humans and animals alike.
From UN Delegates to Business Professionals, the EBC Teens also hosts countless speakers from around the world who conduct interactive sessions. We provide a platform for our members to not only learn new skills, but to share their passion and talents with a community eager to form meaningful relationships beyond boundaries. As our club encompasses multiple time zones, all programs conducted by EBC Teens are streamed live and recorded to give everyone an equal opportunity to share and learn.
At the EBC Teens, we understand that ordinary people accomplish extraordinary feats once they routinize the right habits.
Together, we will become the new age leaders that this world needs!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Many of our members are spread out throughout the globe, from the USA to Macedonia to India. Hence, many of our programs are conducted virtually. However, when we do get the chance to meet in person, we organize events that allow us to give back to our communities.
During one of our most recent gatherings, teens from Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York collaborated with ACT Foundation USA to plant fruit trees at Do Ngak Kunphen Ling (DNKL) in Redding, CT. We started early, and worked throughout the day to plant 2 apple trees, 2 pear trees, and 4 blueberry bushes. From playful banter while digging, to a picnic spread on the grass in the afternoon, this event gave us teens the opportunity to interact and laugh in person, while we give back to Mother Earth and our community. Here is what our volunteers Prisha and Kashi loved:
“The fruit tree plantation drive was a marvelous experience of reciprocating nature’s love by the acts of afforestation. Some of the Early Birds Teens members got to see each other in real life for the first time! We drove to the plantation site with gardening tools and small trees. After we got there, it was just the process of digging a hole in the ground, gently placing the tree and filling in the soil that led to the successful plantation. It was a wonderful experience that brought all of us together and gave us a strong feeling of achievement. It was also a very controlled plantation thereby leaving the habitats and environment unharmed and improved. After a few hours in, we were fed a delicious home cooked lunch and finished planting the trees. We would most definitely take part in it again and recommend this drive to everyone!!” – Kashi and Prisha
When we EBC Teens come together, we always seek to include volunteering within our activities. We feel a sense of pride when we serve, and by combining it with elements of fun, events by EBC Teens always create meaningful memories that inspire many more occasions to come.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We would like to dedicate our success to Mohanji, our founder. His vision of stability, confidence, and success for the youth inspire us each and every day to continue our work. We would also like to recognize the efforts by our dedicated volunteers to grow our community and provide more teens with the tools to create their ideal future.
