We had the good fortune of connecting with Dora Tramel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dora, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
I want to be a philanthropist. Create businesses that give back to the people who keep those businesses running and rely on them to provide for their families. I want to help and provide refuges for people all over the world

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a entrepreneur/chef/artist. What sets my businesses apart from others is efficiency, great customer service and love. I got to where I am today by cooking and working in restaurants of cuisines that I was inquisitive about, Cooking and being creative is in my blood maternally and fraternally, that was the easy part but technique, efficiency, timing, speed, leadership; That had to be learned with experience and I took the ultimate challenge, then upped the anti by shooting for perfection. I want the world to know that my businesses are coming to help you, change your palette and thoughts of foods that are not from your culture or country.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would definitely go to Deep Ellum in Dallas and hit up Wing Bucket, Stirr, graffiti art, catch a live band Kimball Art Museum
Klyde Warren Park
Tacos at Dona Lenche in Irving
Mike’s Fried Chicken for their herbacious lol chicken fried per order
Lisa’s Chicken, Buffalo Bros, The Water Gardens in Fort Worth

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
God! He keeps giving me courage over my fears, He constantly makes me expand or adjust my wisdom, emotions, thoughts and boundaries, He constantly makes me see His power and mercy, to stay humble and in service for not just him but other human beings. When I think I am alone, He sends me people just as He sends me to people.
