We had the good fortune of connecting with Diana Beltran and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Diana, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
At Happy Autumn Counseling, we’re all about bringing a little more light into the world—one session at a time! Our virtual group practice is here to support bilingual and First-Gen women as they navigate anxiety, OCD, trauma, and all of life’s twists and turns. Think of us as your biggest cheerleaders, helping you live authentically and create the life you truly deserve.

With services spanning Texas and Arkansas, we provide a safe, judgment-free space for you to process the hard stuff, tackle stress, and grow. Plus, as a fully virtual practice, we break down barriers, making it easier for you to access care from the comfort and convenience of your home.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Being a therapist has always been my passion. I love helping people grow, heal, and transform their lives in meaningful ways. Owning a group practice like Happy Autumn Counseling gives me the opportunity to shape my business based on both ethical values and sound business practices. It’s not always easy—especially when tough decisions around billing arise—but I remind myself that staying in business is essential to continue helping others.

When challenges come up, I face them head-on by seeking guidance and asking questions. I’m not afraid to admit when I don’t know something—I just reach out to peers or experts for support.

Happy Autumn Counseling was inspired by my Australian shepherd, Autumn, whose big personality mirrors my own—warm, welcoming, and full of energy. Naming my practice after her felt like the perfect way to reflect what I aim to create: a safe, inviting virtual space where clients can feel at ease while attending sessions from the comfort of their own homes.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would most definitely take them to Woo Me Ok! I love Korean BBQ and it is a ton of fun as well as the food is fantastic. I would also take them on the dart to downtown and catch a sports game at American Airlines or have a drink at the Statler. I also enjoy going dancing at Havana, since they play Latino Music.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my partner, Alexis Ortiz Sanchez. Alexis has truly believed in me since day one and has pushed me to open my own business. I call him my life coach! Alexis provides sound guidance, listens, and helps me navigate things logically.
